This project explores the world of Sherlock Holmes through a series of illustrated book covers inspired by the famous detective’s most memorable adventures. Each cover was designed to capture the mood, mystery, and intrigue of the story it represents, using bold compositions, atmospheric details, and visual clues that encourage a closer look.
A lot of research went into understanding the settings, characters, and themes behind each tale so that every illustration felt connected to Holmes’ world. Moody color palettes help set the tone, while familiar objects like pipes, magnifying glasses, skulls, and other symbolic details offer subtle hints about the mysteries waiting inside.
The final collection combines classic detective storytelling with a modern illustration style, creating artwork that appeals to longtime Sherlock Holmes fans while also drawing in new readers with its sense of mystery and adventure.
